HPR 0

Penrite HPR 0 is a premium quality, synthetic performance low SAPs SAE OW-40 engine oil, formulated using a combination of new low ash
technology additives and a low shear rate viscosity modifier for maximum engine protection and performance.

Penrite HPR 0 meets the requirements of API SM/CF and the European Standards ACEA A3/B4/C3, as well as many manufacturers! specifications.
APPLICATION

It is especially designed for use in 2005-on petrol and diesel engines made by European manufacturers such as BMW, Citroen, Peugeot and Volkswagen as well as the Hyundai Santa Fe CRDi. (check
Recommendations Guides for more applications).

The low ash formulation is designed to maximise DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) life and exhaust catalyst life.
DPFs are fitted to many diesel engines to rapture soot particles that are the by product of combustion.
These fitters are sensitive to oil ash so HPR 0 has been designed with this in mind.

HPR Diesel 5 remains our primary recommendation in this viscosity range for diesel engines in vehicles without DPFs.

HPR 0 is also ideal for hybrid-engined vehicles where the friction-modified formulation will assist in maximising the fuel economy benefits of these engines.
HPR 0 can also be used in any petrol engine that requires API SMtILSAC GF-4 oils and in eneines that specify ACEA AI/BI, A5/BS, CI and C2 operating in
Australia. HPR 5 or SIN 0 should be used in petrol engines where API SL and ILSAC GF-3 are specified and a low viscosity oil is required.

Not recommended for use in motorcycle engines.

HPR 10

Semi-synthetic SAE 10W-50 wide range viscosity engine oil formulated for use in a wide range of latest generation petrol fuelled motor car and recreational 4WD engines. Exceeds API SL/CF performance level and those of the European ACEA A3/B3. Non-friction modified. Best suited for Australian conditions in vehicles where the vehicle manufacturer handbook specifies the use of this viscosity or a SAE 10W-30/40 oil is recommended. May also be used in diesel engines specifying a similar viscosity range.

HPR 15

An SAE 15W-60 semi-synthetic engine oil formulated for use in latest technology multivalve- multicam computer managed or conventional engines. Exceeds API SL/CF performance levels and those of ACEA A3/B3. Non friction modified. Primarily intended for: · Petrol fuelled cars (including turbocharged,\'); · LPG fuelled cars. Can also be used in petrol and LPG fuelled four wheel drive recreational and light commercial vehicles (up to 3.5 t GVM) and diesel fuelled cars (including turbocharged). Meets the lubrication requirements of Porsche. For diesel fuelled four wheel drive recreational and light commercial vehicles, our primary recommendation is HPR Diesel 20W-60 or for new vehicles subjected to light work or for use in extreme cold, HPR Diesel Light 15W-40.

HPR 40

A 25W-70 high viscosity engine oil for use in conventional engines and ideal for summer use or where climatic temperatures necessitate an oil of a higher viscosity. Also suitable for petrol engines with aftermarket turbochargers operating in high speed, high temperature conditions. Meets API SL/CF performance levels and those of ACEA A2/B2. Non friction modified. Not recommended for diesel engined cars, recreational 4WD and light commercial vehicles, use HPR Diesel oils.

HPR 50

HPR DIESEL

An SAE 20W-60 engine oil meeting the requirements of API CH-4/SJ and those of ACEA B3/B4/A3. Non friction modified. Developed specifically for turbo and non-turbocharged diesels fitted in four wheel drive recreational and light commercial vehicles operating under Australian conditions. Ideal in both direct and indirect injection engines. May also be used in higher mileage passenger car diesels where its use should reduce oil consumption.

HPR DIESEL 5

Synthetic performance engine oil for use in the latest generation of high performance diesel engines including turbocharged. Ideal where this viscosity or a SAE 5W/10W-30 is recommended. Primary recommendation for Land Rover Td5, Range Rover/BMW Td6 and Holden Jackaroo 3.0L diesel engines, Mazda/Ford diesel engines, Iveco, Mercedes Benz Light Commercials/4WDs and in diesel engines fitted with hydraulically controlled fuel injectors.

HPR DIESEL 15

Semi-synthetic oil designed for use in most modern direct and indirect injection diesel engines including turbocharged. Ideal for new diesel vehicles under manufacturer's warranty and normal driving conditions. Note: some vehicles may require HPR Diesel 5 or Synthetic 5.

HPR GAS

An SAE 20W-60 developed specifically for LPG fuelled cars and light commercial vehicles operating in high temperature, high speed and/or high load conditions. Also for use in fleets with both diesel and petrol cars and light commercial vehicles. Exceeds all API specifications contained in Holden HN2314 and Ford WSE M2C902-A3 LP Gas engine lubrication specifications. The additives selected minimise nitration of the oil which can occur with the combustion of LPG. Nitration reduces the oil life and in extreme cases can cause corrosion of bearing metal. Exceeds API CG-4/SL performance levels and meets those of ACEA A3/B3/B4. Non friction modified.

HPR GAS 10

Semi-synthetic oil designed for use in newer LPG engines where SAE 15W-40 or 15W-50 oils are required. Contains carefully selected additives to minimise nitration of the oil, maintaining bearing life.
